For others, when we are ready to sit down and relax of an evening, we like to shut the door on the chaotic kitchen so that we can fully unwind.

When talking with your designer, help them to understand how the mechanics of your life work and they can use this when preparing their concept.  Any good designer will ask you leading questions to help him or her to understand your day to day needs as well as your creative desires.
