Daring Designers Show Their Caring Side
During the month of September 2018 we have seen not one but two of the Oxford Kitchens design team taking part in sponsored events to raise valuable funds and awareness for their chosen causes.
Both Nikki and Chris have been busying away raising sponsorship, and have been delighted at the kindness shown within the showroom! From family and friends to fitters and customers, Chris tells of how overwhelmed they have both been by the evident generosity.
On Sunday 23rd September, Nikki very bravely took to the roof of the John Radcliff Hospital to join ‘The Great Big Hospital abseil’ raising funds for the ‘Silver Star Society’. Nikki abseiled down 100ft of Oxford’s John Radcliffe hospital.
Nikki tells us, “I had a brilliant time on Sunday. I was very nervous but having received so many sponsors for this great cause I knew I had to do it. It was a real adrenaline buzz.”
Whilst Nikki was in Oxford, Chris was joined by family, trekking around London for the MS Society’s – MS Walk 2018. Covering around 15km in total.
Altogether, the two Oxford Kitchen designers respectfully raised in excess of £1500.00 for charity.
As an organisation that works with the consumer, Oxford Kitchens and Bathrooms Limited believe in the importance of a personable service. With their ever friendly and courteous team, this is evident from the outset.
We asked Director, Richard Hardie how he feels about such activities; “Creating a professional yet welcoming environment for our customers includes involving ourselves in local activities and supporting our team members with events such as fundraising. This is the key to building solid relationships and a happy team, which ultimately reflects on our customers too”.
The Oxford Kitchens design team can be found in their showroom on Besselsleigh Road in Wootton, Oxfordshire between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Saturday.
