Dear Sir or Madam,
This private house in Taiwan displays a cubic and linear architecture while boasting a wide range of details. The protruding and recessed façades create a dynamic external effect enhanced by strong contrasts: black and white tones create a clear colour pattern while the raw concrete and Taiwanese flora maintain an intriguing dialogue.
The exterior architecture and interior design are characterised by clean lines, concrete and a reduced colour palette. The bar kitchen with anthracite-coloured surfaces, wooden elements and the sophisticated FIOS shelving system opens up to the dining and lounge area. Even the drawer organisation echoes the space and material concept. The planning style is carried through in the warm oak and iridescent metal so that even the inside of the storage room is an eye-catcher. At the same time, this practical solution is also visually clean and elegant.
The minimalist design of the staircase creates an impression of individual elements floating freely in space. Fine details – such as cushions and upholstery in soft earth tones as well as modern luminaires – relax the contemporary ambience and create a friendly, particularly homely interior. Upstairs too, the architect’s stringent colour and material concept is continued.
